Ready to take your fitness to the water? Our Masters Swim program is designed for adults who want structured, self‑guided swim workouts—not swim lessons. This is a fitness‑focused group for confident swimmers who enjoy improving technique, endurance, and overall well‑being in a supportive, non‑competitive environment. Masters is ideal for former competitive swimmers returning to the pool, dedicated lap swimmers who want written workouts, and triathletes looking to build endurance and efficiency. Workouts are provided, but there is no coach on deck; swimmers complete the sets independently at their own pace and comfort level. We focus on fun, friendship, and fitness- not just fast times. Participant Requirements: For swimmers 18+ who can swim a continuous front crawl for at least 100 yards without stopping. This program is not intended for beginners or adults seeking learn‑to‑swim lessons. What to Bring: Goggles and a swim cap (for long hair) are recommended. Kickboards, pull buoys, short fins, and paddles are optional and available at the pool. If you’re unsure whether Masters is the right fit depending on your swim level and fitness journey, please reach out: maureen.mook@gmail.com For more information about U.S. Masters Swimming, visit their website. Membership is optional. When registering, Richfield Masters Swim is listed as a workout group under Minnesota Masters Swimming (abbreviation: RMS).
