Home Alone Safety DaySafety ProgramsAge 9-12 There is no magic age at which children develop the maturity and good sense needed to stay alone. Be prepared for your 9-12 year-old to be home alone for short periods of time, before or after school or while you run errands. During this class, kids will make their own first-aid kits and learn basic first-aid techniques. We’ll discuss personal and home safety, internet safety, phone skills, fire safety, escape plans, what to do in severe weather, bike safety, snack ideas, appropriate activities and more! Lunch will be provided. This class is a partnership with Richfield Police, Richfield Fire, and Richfield Recreation Services. Masters Swim PracticeAquaticsReady to take your fitness to the water? Our Masters Swim program is designed for adults who want structured, self‑guided swim workouts—not swim lessons. This is a fitness‑focused group for confident swimmers who enjoy improving technique, endurance, and overall well‑being in a supportive, non‑competitive environment. Masters is ideal for former competitive swimmers returning to the pool, dedicated lap swimmers who want written workouts, and triathletes looking to build endurance and efficiency. Workouts are provided, but there is no coach on deck; swimmers complete the sets independently at their own pace and comfort level. We focus on fun, friendship, and fitness- not just fast times. Participant Requirements: For swimmers 18+ who can swim a continuous front crawl for at least 100 yards without stopping. This program is not intended for beginners or adults seeking learn‑to‑swim lessons. What to Bring: Goggles and a swim cap (for long hair) are recommended. Kickboards, pull buoys, short fins, and paddles are optional and available at the pool.
